Lazy Suzannes are another wood build we enjoy doing, with more to come! They’re made from laminated or single wood sections to yield a beautiful tabletop centerpiece—with a spin! Stay tuned for new one soon!
Our first one is 10 in diameter and is made from Cherry and Purpleheart, with a solid Purpleheart base.
The next one is made from a hand-cut piece of pine, from a tree in the backyard. It was dried and given a thick polyurethane finish to keep the wood from splitting. Did I mention it was cut cross-grain and the bark was left on to really exaggerate the rings from the tree?
